Line
Did it move, and which way
A line is the only shape that answers whether something is getting better. Registration trend, activity trend, completions over time and the NPS trend are all the same shape asked of different data.
Funnel
Where do people stop
A funnel puts the stages in order and shows the fall between each pair, so the answer is the gap rather than the total. Enrolled, started, progressing, completed, certified.
Heatmap
When does it actually happen
Two axes and a density. Day of week against hour of day tells you when your learners are really working, which is rarely when the training was scheduled.

Four things sit on every card, in the same corner, every time.
A chart you cannot interrogate is a picture. These four are on the card itself, top right, visible without hovering over anything.

Ask the chart what it means
The assistant reads that card back to you in two to four sentences, scoped to the figures on it. On every plan, the free one included.
Pin
Put it on a board of your own
The pin records which chart it is, not a picture of it, so the card redraws live every time your board opens.

What chart kinds does LearnBoard have?
Twelve shapes across ninety-four registered widget kinds: line, bar, area, pie, scatter, radar, treemap, funnel, gauge, heatmap, box plot and Sankey, plus tables and KPI tiles. The count is read from the widget registry the product itself uses.
Can we build our own charts?
You can build your own dashboards out of the existing charts, by pinning any card onto a board of your own. There is no free-form chart designer, and this page will not imply there is one: what you pin is a registered widget kind, which is why a pinned card can redraw itself live.
Can we export what a chart shows?
Yes, wherever a card offers an export, from Pro upwards. The CSV carries what the card is showing, including the filters you applied, because the filters are part of the request rather than something applied afterwards.
How does a chart explain what it counts?
Every card carries an info tooltip that states what it shows and how it is computed. That text is the same methodology text our documentation carries, so a figure never means two different things in two places.
Do the charts work inside your LMS?
Yes. The chart on a LMS page is the very same living chart as in LearnBoard, with the same tooltips and the same Ask AI button, not a picture and not a boxed-in frame.
Is there a box plot?
Yes, as a widget kind. The time-to-completion screen is where the spread rather than the average is the point.
Which platforms does LearnBoard support?
LearnNoow and Moodle. Connect either one read-only and the same dashboards, charts, alerts and AI answers run on it. Nothing is installed on LearnNoow; Moodle has two free companion plugins.
