Questions

Terms of Service Written to Be Read Rather than Skipped.

Who provides the service

LearnBoard is provided by NASMAK Technologies Pty Ltd, an Australian company. Using the hosted service or installing the self-hosted licence means agreeing to these terms.

Plans, prices and currency

Prices are in US dollars and are published on the pricing page, which reads them from the same place the product bills against. Annual billing is exactly ten times the monthly price. Free and Enterprise carry no card price: Free needs no payment and Enterprise is quoted.

The free plan and the first 14 days

Signing up opens every feature for 14 days and then settles to the free plan. It is one account throughout, not a trial that becomes a different product. No card is required at any point in that path.

How usage is measured

An active learner is one with any activity in your connected LMS in the trailing 90 days. Registered accounts with no activity are not counted. Quotas warn when they are exceeded; they do not stop data syncing and they do not delete anything.

Your data

Your learner records remain yours and remain in your LMS. LearnBoard reads them under the read-only connection you configure. The dashboards, accounts and audit trail created inside LearnBoard are yours to export or delete.

What we do not warrant

LearnBoard reports on the data your LMS contains. It cannot correct records that are wrong at source, and figures on any dashboard are only as good as what the LMS holds. Surfaces that need data the LMS does not store, such as attendance, behaviour or training costs, show an awaiting-data state until you supply it.

Availability and support

The hosted service is backed up daily and monitored. Support arrangements depend on your plan; Enterprise terms are negotiated. Self-hosted installations are operated by you, with an optional annual support subscription.

The self-hosted licence

A one-time licence at $3,990, with an optional $990 a year for updates and support. It cannot currently be purchased online and is quoted directly.

Changing these terms

We will publish changes on this page. Material changes affecting a paid plan will be notified to the workspace administrators on that plan.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the state in which the vendor is registered in Australia. Ask us through the contact page if you need the specific jurisdiction named in writing.

Which platforms does LearnBoard support?

LearnNoow and Moodle. Connect either one read-only and the same dashboards, charts, alerts and AI answers run on it. Nothing is installed on LearnNoow; Moodle has two free companion plugins.

The short version

Three things worth knowing, before the detail above.

None of these is a surprise buried in a clause. They are the parts of the agreement that actually change what happens to you. Works with LearnNoow and Moodle.

  • Billing

You are billed on active learners

Activity in the trailing 90 days, not registered accounts.

  • Quotas

Going over warns, it never blocks

Syncing continues and nothing is deleted.

  • Your data

    It stays in your LMS

We read it. We do not take a copy of your database.
