Higher Education dashboards

The Higher Education screens are six LearnBoard dashboards for universities, colleges and other tertiary providers that teach on Moodle. They answer the questions a provider is asked every term: who will finish on time, which recruitment channels bring students who complete, which programs work, whether every accreditation standard is assessed, which resources students use, and how teaching staff compare. They are for academic leaders, program directors, quality and accreditation teams, recruitment and library staff.

  • Where to find them: the Higher Education section of the sidebar.
  • Plan: all six screens are part of the Higher Education sector pack. On a plan without the pack they stay visible in the sidebar, greyed out with a lock, and open to a locked page with Compare plans (and View plans & upgrade for billing administrators). A plan with a sector pack slot lets you choose the pack under Billing.
  • Who can open them: the Admin and Manager roles by default. The Viewer role does not include these specialist screens by default, and the Learner role cannot open them. See roles and permissions.
  • Team leads: Graduation / Progression Forecasting and Resource / Library Access Analytics, with figures limited to their own Moodle groups. The other four are not part of the Team lead role.
  • What they need: a connected Moodle site for every screen. Three screens also use records that LearnBoard holds for your workspace, listed under What data they need.

Graduation / Progression Forecasting

Each learner’s projected finish date from their recent pace: who is on time, who is drifting late, and the group’s expected completion curve. Read the guide

Enrolment-Source and Funnel Analytics

Which channels and campaigns produce enrolments, how prospects move from inquiry to enrolment, and which sources bring students who complete. Read the guide

Program / Curriculum Effectiveness

Completion, achievement and satisfaction side by side for every program and intake, blended into one effectiveness read with underperformers flagged. Read the guide

Accreditation / Graduate-Attribute

Proof, standard by standard, that every accreditation requirement and graduate attribute is assessed somewhere: the coverage matrix and the gap list. Read the guide

Resource / Library Access Analytics

Which learning resources actually get used, ranked by views, patterned over time and traceable to the learners and courses that open them. Read the guide

Instructor / Tutor Performance

A scorecard for every teaching and tutoring role: cohorts taught, learner completion, discussion responsiveness and grading turnaround. Read the guide

From Moodle, always

Enrolments, activity completion, course completions, certificates, grades, groups, teaching roles and the standard activity log. Progression Forecasting, Library Access and Instructor Performance need nothing else.

Recruitment records

The upper funnel on Enrolment-Source and Funnel Analytics: inquiries, applications and offers by channel. The enrolment side always comes from Moodle.

Survey results

The satisfaction part of Program Effectiveness. Without them, programs are scored on completion and achievement only.

Accreditation framework

The standards and graduate attributes, and how each maps to assessment items. Without a framework, Accreditation shows its not-set-up card.

Every screen counts learners the same way as the rest of LearnBoard: people with an active student enrolment. Teachers, other staff, suspended accounts and suspended enrolments are left out, and completion rate is completed enrolments divided by enrolments.
