ABC Early-Warning (Balfanz)
Attendance, behaviour and course performance combined into one ranked list of who needs intervention this week. Read the guide
The K-12 pack gives schools four screens built on their Moodle data: an early-warning list of who needs help, progress against curriculum standards, a parent-friendly view of one student, and a check on whether behaviour and results move together. They sit under K-12 in the LearnBoard sidebar.

Parent / Guardian Portal View
One student’s learning story told the way a parent would read it: read-only, friendly and free of jargon. Read the guide
Behaviour / Incident Correlation
Behaviour records against academic results: who carries both, when incidents cluster, and whether the two track together. Read the guide
From Moodle, always
Enrolments, course-total grades, activity completion, certificates, groups and the site log. These drive the C indicator, mastery evidence, the parent view and the academic side of behaviour correlation.
Attendance records
Turn on the A indicator on ABC Early-Warning. Without them, you can estimate attendance from Moodle activity.
Behaviour records
Turn on the B indicator on ABC Early-Warning and the whole Behaviour / Incident Correlation screen.
Standards
A mapped standards framework, or Moodle tags carrying curriculum codes such as Australian Curriculum or CCSS codes.
Every screen counts learners the same way as the rest of LearnBoard: people with an active student enrolment. Teachers, suspended accounts and suspended enrolments are left out.
