Chrome and Edge
Version 111 or later. LearnBoard’s own automated checks run in Chrome.
LearnBoard runs in a web browser, with nothing to install on your computer. This page lists which browsers to use, how LearnBoard works on phones and tablets, the light and dark themes, how to save a screen as a PDF, and how charts behave inside Moodle. It is for everyone who opens LearnBoard, and for IT teams checking what their staff need.
LearnBoard is built on modern web standards and needs a current browser.
Chrome and Edge
Version 111 or later. LearnBoard’s own automated checks run in Chrome.
Firefox
Version 128 or later.
Safari
Version 16.4 or later, on Mac, iPhone and iPad.
Internet Explorer is not supported. If a screen looks broken or empty in an older browser, update the browser first.
The theme button in the top bar cycles through three choices:
| Choice | What it does |
|---|---|
| Match system theme | follows your device’s light or dark setting, and changes when your device does |
| Light theme | always light |
| Dark theme | always dark |
Your choice is kept in this browser.
LearnBoard uses your browser’s own print-to-PDF, so charts come out exactly as they look on screen. The navigation is left off, cards are kept whole across page breaks, and the suggested file name includes the screen, the workspace and the date.
For the numbers themselves, use the Download button on a card or table where your role and plan include CSV export.
The LearnBoard block and the LearnBoard page in Moodle draw their charts in the Moodle page itself, not in a frame. They take your Moodle site’s theme and stay readable on a phone. A viewer’s browser loads the charts and figures from LearnBoard, so the browser rules above apply to Moodle pages that show LearnBoard charts too.
